Hi there!

I'm Jaley, momma to Paxton and Presley--the two adorable kiddo's below, wife to Kyle, and photographer for Encore Photography.

In my free time you can catch me on the couch reading books, snuggling our cat, or hanging out with our three dogs--Turbo, Riley, and Dozer. I'm a total home body, I love being in my own space with all of the people that I love most. When I'm not home you can probably catch me out taking pictures of random things, thrift shopping, or on some crazy adventure that my kiddos have talked me into.

How does someone who loves being home so much get into photography you might ask? I got my first "real" camera in 2016, and used it off and on for a few years just for fun. I had no clue what I was doing, but I knew I liked doing it. In 2019  I started taking boutique photo's for my store, and I realized how much I really liked all the aspects of photography and began to get more into it. Over time EP has grown to be a passion that I'm so blessed to be able to help support my family with.

When I first started getting serious I was very hesitant about pursuing photography on the next level. There are so many amazing photographers in my area and I had been told jokingly by a few that I was just trying to be like everyone else. The more I got into it though the less I cared. I'm not a social person at all, I'm awkward and don't usually go new places or talk to many people unless I know them. Photography has been an outlet of sorts for me in that area. I've become more confident in myself and my abilities. I've worked hard to invest in the right equipment and education which has allowed me to grow not only professionally but personally. In March of 2022 the official studio home of EP opened in downtown Bremen, and it has truly been a journey that I'm so proud of.

I've been so many places now that I never would have gone on my own, and I've met some of the most amazing people whose stories have forever impacted my life. Being able to share those stories with others is something that I will always be proud of. There's always something special in capturing the authentic moments, whether big or small, that makes me love what I do a little more every time I get behind my camera.

Whether you're looking at investing in a session with EP or have had past sessions, I want to thank you for your consideration. I put my heart into each gallery and take immense pride in my work. I still get excited when clients book sessions because I know they're trusting me with some of the most important memories of their lives. While I will always be continually learning, growing, and investing in myself; I'm so very thankful to have friends-old and new-who give me the chance to capture memories that will last a lifetime.
