Community Impact Program
Encore Community Impact is an initiative created to make professional photography more accessible to people and programs in our local communities who may otherwise go without it. We’re starting with high school seniors.
Senior year is a big deal. It deserves to be remembered, celebrated, and documented regardless of what a family can comfortably afford.
Every Senior Deserves to Be Celebrated
Some seniors may be in foster care or connected to the system. Some come from families who are simply stretched too thin. And some may just need one good thing that feels completely theirs.Through the program, local businesses and community members can help sponsor senior portrait sessions for students throughout Michiana. Encore matches those contributions through donated photography value, allowing each sponsored senior to receive their session at no cost. Sponsored sessions may be referred through local schools, youth serving organizations, foster and kinship support programs, grief support organizations, or other trusted community partners.
This is Only the Beginning
Senior portraits are where the Encore Community Impact Program is starting, but the goal is to grow it into something that can serve our communities in even more ways.
As the program grows, I hope to expand into sponsored photography opportunities for local schools, performing arts programs, community organizations, and other groups that may not otherwise have access to professional photography.
For now, we’re starting with seniors one student, one sponsor, and one milestone at a time.
Fully Sponsor a Senior
Help make senior portraits possible for students who may otherwise go without them. Your contribution fully sponsors one senior, and Encore matches the remaining photography value. You’re welcome to support as many students as you’d like and can choose which community your sponsorship supports. Sponsors can receive recognition through the Encore Community Impact Program if desired and will receive updates as the sponsored senior completes the program.
As a Thank You
Business and individual sponsors can choose to be recognized on the Encore Community Impact page and in social media sponsor spotlights, or remain anonymous.
Each fully sponsored senior will also be invited to write a short thank-you note to their sponsor, signed or anonymous depending on their comfort. Sponsors will also receive updates throughout the process as the sponsored senior completes the program.
If you are sponsoring more than one senior:
You will receive a complimentary portrait session ranging from 15–60 minutes depending on the contribution amount. This can be used for an individual, family, headshot, or branding session.
